Wow! It’s not often that I desire to write a review and offer more than five stars, but working with Ric certainly deserves more! My daughter recommended Adkins Home Inspections after she was so impressed with services provided for a new home ‘one year’ inspection. I have worked with Ric for a seller’s pre-inspection and his advice and recommendations were spot on to prepare for the buyer’s inspection.

Highly recommend this company. Ric did a thorough home inspection on the home we’re purchasing. He uncovered a few ‘band-aide fixes’ the seller did and prevented us from future structural issues! He is also very knowledgeable and professional. We were very pleased with his services.

Ric stepped in on short notice and helped me out on an inspection of a newly constructed home. The home was not ready as scheduled and Ric showed up then offered to come back the next day when the odds and ends were complete. An already tight schedule became tighter, but Ric came through. He came back and did the inspection, then met with the site manager on my behalf, since I had returned to Maryland to meet our meet our movers. The site manager had the work done or scheduled for completion by the time we went to settlement two days later. Ric went above and beyond.

Ric was very efficient & thorough. The report was easy to understand & clear about what was a major concern & what could be considered an aesthetic repair. The report was completed really quickly which was very helpful. Highly recommended.

Ric Adkins performed both our pre-drywall inspection and final pre-closing inspection for our new home in Sun City Carolina Lakes during August and September 2014. Ric was very accomodating to our and the builder’s schedule. After inspections, Ric turn around to write and send his inspection reports to us, the builder and our realtor was very rapid, and in time for us and the builder to have the reports in-hand when we did our inspections. Ric’s inspection reports were very thorough, professional and easy to understand with lots of color pictures and explanation of all the visual and mechanical tests performed on the property. Ric did a really great job and my wife and I were very impressed with his professional work and results. I would recommend him highly to anyone in need of professional home inspection. We will be using Ric again in the future.
